A feature of Khrushchev is a very limited living space. Therefore, all redevelopment options have one goal - to increase the area. Most of these apartments are 2-room, adjacent or not, but equally with a very inconvenient layout. We set a goal to consider several redevelopment projects and give some advice. Rules that must not be violated when redevelopment

First of all, you need to know what is considered. This includes changing the configuration or removing partitions. To realize any of your ideas, you need a project and its coordination. If only unloaded walls are involved, then this is easier to do, and obtaining permission to carry out some actions with load-bearing walls is very problematic.

Having decided to make a redevelopment in Khrushchev, you should know that there are some unacceptable actions and rules that cannot be violated:

Option 4

There are such types of 2-room Khrushchevs, where it is possible to divide the rooms with a corridor. In this case, the wall of the living room is moved, and the entrance to the bedroom is made through the resulting corridor, the old door is laid, and a closet is placed in its place.

The living room, of course, will decrease by about 4 m2, but this decrease is compensated when the kitchen is attached to it. In such a room there is enough space for family holidays, for receiving guests, and for gathering the whole family in the evenings.

A two-room kopeck piece, arranged according to the principle of a tram, can be rescheduled like this:

  1. Install an additional partition, separating the living room from the corridor.
  2. Arrange or in the resulting room.
  3. Divide a long narrow room into a living room and a bedroom by installing a plasterboard partition.

Option 5

This option is acceptable with such a layout, when in a 2-room apartment you have to cross the living room almost diagonally to enter the bedroom. In this case, the functionality of the latter greatly reduces this passage, which, in fact, is a "dead" zone.

There is an option that transforms an uncomfortable cramped 2-room Khrushchev into a 3-room one:

  1. The bathroom wall is moved close to the living room.
  2. The existing door to the living room is laid and a new one is made, while merging the rest of the hallway with the living room.
  3. From this united room, a door to the kitchen is arranged.
  4. The back room is divided into 2 bedrooms, a partition between which they are made non-linear in order to be able to arrange a dressing room in each room.

Tip: when arranging two bedrooms from one long room with one window, one of them may be without sunlight. In this case, the partition is not made to the very ceiling, but about a meter and a half.

As you can see, the creation of comfortable, cozy housing in a rare 2-room apartment is not possible without redevelopment. But even such an uncomfortable structure can be miraculously changed using design developments and modern materials.
