Do-it-yourself money tree from coins picture. Crafts from coins: metal art (20 photos). Nuances of technique collage

The art of Feng Shui teaches us: in order to become rich, you must have a money tree, because it is it that attracts wealth and prosperity like a magnet. In souvenir shops there is a wide selection of such talismans for every taste, but if you make a money tree with your own hands and put a piece of your soul into it, this will enhance its effect several times. We bring to your attention several options for making a homemade tree, which does not lose either beauty or magical abilities from this.

Topiary from coins

When starting to make a topiary from coins (a decorative tree with a curly round crown), you should follow the rules:

  1. The main focus is the crown, and its diameter should be larger than the pot in which the tree grows.
  2. The maximum size of the pot is equal to the width of the crown, but it is better to take a smaller pot so that it does not draw attention to itself.
  3. The total height of the souvenir tree will be approximately three diameters of the crown itself.
  4. The trunk should be thin, but stable.
  5. To prevent the tree from falling, the base-pot must be filled with heavy filler.

One of the simplest options for a coin money tree is to use a round foam ball as the basis for the crown. Some craftsmen make it from newspapers, folding them tightly and gluing them together, but this option is not the best, since it is very difficult to achieve an even rounded shape. To make the crown perfect, it is better to pick up a foam ball. Its size depends on the desire and the number of coins available, but it should be borne in mind that there should be a lot of them, because the ball is completely covered.

The ball should be pre-pasted with paper napkins - so it will not be slippery and the coins will stick better.

So, in order to make a topiary money tree with your own hands, you need to pick up small coins of the same denomination, for example, 10 rubles. You can fasten them either with a thermal gun or with PVA glue (the first option is preferable, since it will provide good adhesion). The crown should be formed in the form of scales, namely:

A small section of the ball should remain empty - the trunk will “grow” from here.

The tree trunk can be made from an ordinary sushi stick and then it will be even or from a piece of thick aluminum cable, whimsically bending it. The golden effect of the wooden trunk will be given by painting, while the cable must be wrapped with tape or paper of the same color.

It remains to collect and "plant" a money tree, namely:

  1. Fix the barrel in the left hole on the crown ball, using glue if necessary.
  2. Fill a plastic glass of small volume or an ordinary cup with plaster and install a tree.
  3. When the gypsum hardens, seal the “soil” in a glass with coins, paint it with golden paint or cover it with sparkles.
  4. Decorate the pot with paint or paste over with beautiful lace.

If desired, leaves or bows can be attached to the stem, and a butterfly can be planted on the crown - it all depends on the master's imagination.

Graceful money tree with branches

A very delicate money tree can be made with your own hands from coins and wire: a beautiful falling crown with golden coin leaves will be the main decoration of the house. It is not difficult to make a talisman, for this:

Coins can also be combined with beads, and the barrel can be given different shapes.

Painting from coins

Not only a voluminous tree looks impressive, but also laid out in the form of a picture on canvas or paper. Such work can be done with children, because there is nothing complicated about how to make a money tree in a picture. The piece itself is as follows:

  1. Draw a contour on the canvas (trunk and crown).
  2. Lay out the trunk from paper napkins twisted into flagella.
  3. Lay out the crown from the coins.
  4. Paint everything golden.
  5. Insert the picture into the frame.

What does the money tree symbolize?

There are many signs associated with the money tree. According to the teachings of Feng Shui, the main task of this talisman is to attract financial well-being and wealth to its owner, but the effect will be only if the tree is placed in the right place, namely in the zone of wealth. The southeast side of the room is responsible for this, and to enhance the effect of the money tree, it is recommended to install a fountain nearby.

Chinese feng shui experts assure that decorative talisman trees should have 10 branches, on which exactly 100 coins are located - it is this combination that has the maximum magical effect.

If you shake such a tree and jingle leaf-coins, you should soon expect material benefits. Whether this is true or not is up to you.

As for the living money tree (fat woman), the plant also retains its symbolism if it is properly looked after. In this case, in order for the flower to affect the material condition in a positive way, it is necessary to regularly wipe the leaves, preventing the formation of dust on them - it will lead to the opposite effect (spending and losing money). The drying up of the bush also portends an unplanned waste.

To activate the action of the fat woman money tree, you should put a coin on the bottom of the flowerpot and wash it under running water every year on the eve of Christmas.

Summing up, I would like to say: if the house has stocks of little things, including old coins, you should definitely try to make a talisman out of them. A money tree made with love with your own hands will not only decorate the house, but also become an original gift for friends and acquaintances.

Making a money tree from beads - video

A coin tree is originally a symbol of wealth and prosperity, according to the basics of Feng Shui. Therefore, if you decide to acquire such a symbol, you should be very scrupulous about placing the image of a tree from coins in the room.

A money tree is a kind of talisman that can replace you with a living plant that is responsible for the wealth of your family (popularly it is called a money tree).

An artificial tree does not have to be so carefully looked after - it does not need to be watered or cut off dried branches. But this does not mean at all that it can be abandoned in principle. A good housewife should monitor the cleanliness of needlework. It should not gather dust and, moreover, be dirty. Treat it as an important element that helps you attract big money to your home.

You determine the location of the tree yourself, but try to orient it to the southeast of the room. The picture needs to be decorated with stripes or ribbons of red color. Place the image of water not far from the creation, as any tree loves water. According to Feng Shui beliefs, water is a source of growth and abundance, which will help you become richer.

You can also purchase an artificial coin tree planted in a small pot, or even a real, growing tree. But this is no longer something unusual and relevant. As an original alternative, we offer you a homemade painting. After all, what could be better than creating something on your own, on your own?

A minimum of costs and from the heart, such an unusual present will cheer up any of your friends or good acquaintances. In addition, a coin tree can be made to decorate your interior, and not just as a gift.

For the painting "Tree of Coins" you will need:

  • various coins (different denomination, size, color);
  • base (made of thick thick cardboard, and preferably made of wood) and a frame;
  • fabric (also dense);
  • burlap (for decorating the base);
  • napkins or paper;
  • wire or special hook;
  • PVA glue or hot glue;
  • wooden glazing beads (or foam);
  • degreasing gel and a piece of cloth (to remove excess glue).

Cut napkins (or paper) into thin strips - this will serve as a trunk for the future tree.

Then soak these strips in a vessel of glue and twist them to form flagella.

Now carefully lay out these flagella on a burlap canvas in such a way that the trunk of the future tree and its roots emerge.

Then glue the coins in that area of the crown. The volume of the crown will depend on the number of your coins.

In the end, it will turn out approximately as shown in the photo.

The root can be made colored and more interesting. For example, as in the photo below.

To do this, dilute colored paint in a vessel with glue (you will need several vessels with glue for different colors).

You can paint the coins green - take a sponge and soak it well in green paint, then lightly press it on the crown. If you have not dealt with this type of work before, you can practice on paper. The barrel can be painted brown in the same way.

An unusual craft will turn out if you dream up and imagine that you are depicting a tree in winter. White tones will create an aura of tenderness and lightness.

The end result might look like this.

For such a tree, you will need all the same components that are listed above.

Getting Started

The first thing to do is paint the canvas white (use a sprayer for convenience). Be sure to place some paper (such as newspaper) under the frame so you don't stain the floor or any other surface you choose with paint.

Glue the coins to make a crown. Using a sponge, carefully apply white paint.

To give a special look, if desired, the craft can be covered with a transparent varnish.

So that the picture does not turn out to be heavy, try to dilute real coins. For example, a cold porcelain analogue is much lighter, and you can paint them in any color you like (silver and gold, or paint over with green, and then dim them with white).

The following tree is also original and expensive.

Have you been saving coins for years? We suggest using this banknote in making amazing paintings that can attract wealth and prosperity to the family, according to Feng Shui beliefs. A great example is a do-it-yourself painting of a money tree made of coins - you will find a step-by-step master class in this article in several variations. In this instruction, you will learn all the secrets of creating such a talisman, which does not need to be looked after and watered as carefully as a living plant. It just needs to be hung on the wall, which is located in the southern or eastern part of the room. An equally interesting alternative to the money tree can be a picture-amulet depicting a horseshoe, which can be decorated with coins. About everything in order further in the text.

Picture-amulet “Money horseshoe” 2018 in stages

Our ancestors believed that if you find a horseshoe, then this is a great success.

Important! According to popular beliefs, one blacksmith shoed the unclean and made a deal with him that if the horseshoe hangs with its horns down, then he does not enter the house. Therefore, a do-it-yourself picture of coins is a strong protective amulet that should be in every home, preferably above the door.

We offer you how to make a picture of a horseshoe so that your home always has prosperity and good luck.

Materials and tools

For work, we will prepare the following materials and tools:

  • The base is rectangular in shape (size 250 by 200 mm - depends on how you want to see your creation).

Important! For the base, you can take cardboard, plywood or a finished photo frame.

  • Burlap, which exceeds the size of the base by 10-20 mm on each side (270 by 220 mm).
  • Shaped wooden glazing beads.

Important! Glazing beads can be replaced with a thin ceiling cornice.

  • Thick white thread or jute twine.
  • Furniture stapler.
  • Acrylic paint in black and bronze.

Important! To make a picture, you can use any acrylic paint - in a tube or cylinder. It can be glossy or matte - it all depends on your preferences.

  • Glue gun with transparent sticks.
  • PVA glue.
  • Sponge.
  • Marker
  • Small brush.
  • Scissors.

Important! For the manufacture of the amulet, only natural materials are used, each of which carries a certain semantic designation. For example:

  • burlap represents wealth and abundance;
  • the tree is the integrity and strength of the family.

Therefore, try to use natural materials that will direct the energy of the picture in the right direction.

Stages of creating the painting “Money horseshoe”:

  • First you need to prepare the base. We wrap a rectangular blank with burlap, which we fix with a stapler or glue gun.
  • We install the glazing beads, having previously measured and sawn at an angle of 45 °. For fastening, we use glue, a stapler or small nails.
  • Now we make the crown of our tree. We take a dense white thread or jute twine, soak it with PVA glue to form a dense base for the horseshoe.
  • On a rectangular blank, we draw the selected image with a pencil - for this it is not necessary to have artistic talent.

Important! You can draw a horseshoe on a piece of paper, cut it out, and then circle it on a wooden base.

  • Next, lay out the thread in any form, starting to glue on the outline of the image. Here you can experiment, for example, lay out a solid thread throughout the pattern, glue it in a zigzag or twist it into a ring. The end result should be a horseshoe of tightly lying white threads.
  • Glue a short horizontal thread to the bottom of the horseshoe to get a full-fledged drawing.
  • We are waiting for the complete drying of the base.
  • Using a glue gun all over the horseshoe, leaving gaps, glue the coins, imitating a real horseshoe.
  • Leave the picture for a day to dry.
  • We apply black paint to the surface of the entire picture. Spraying is best done outdoors, at the entrance or in the garage, but not in the apartment. Let the paint dry again.
  • Now we take bronze paint on a sponge and apply with light movements on top of the canvas.

That's all the work. Picture-amulet "Horseshoe" is ready to decorate your home!

Paintings from coins with your own hands - master class "Money tree"

You can buy an original panel depicting a money tree in a shop of skilled craftswomen, or you can create such a masterpiece on your own. Why not? The manufacturing process itself is very interesting and exciting. If you understand the whole system of work, you can easily make interesting pictures both for yourself and for people close to you.

So, we are preparing the following materials for work:

  1. Wallpaper, burlap or fabric.
  2. Coins.
  3. Table napkins (3-5 pieces).
  4. Water.
  5. Acrylic paints (black, gold and silver).
  6. Foam sponge.
  7. Simple pencil.
  8. Scissors.
  9. Loose glitter (can be bought at a cosmetic store).
  10. Frame for a picture or photo.
  11. PVA glue (you can use Moment glue or a thermal gun).
  12. Rag to remove excess glue.

Step-by-step instructions for creating the "Money Tree" panel:

  • We cut out the basis for the future picture. To do this, you need to disassemble the photo frame and attach the back of the plywood to the wallpaper (fabric or burlap), circle with a pencil and cut out the material.
  • Using glue, glue the blank to the back of the plywood.
  • When the wallpaper dries, draw a sample tree on top of the base.
  • In a plate, dilute PVA glue and water in equal proportions 1: 1.
  • We cut the napkins into different pieces, the width of which should be 2-3 cm.
  • Now we take one strip of napkins and carefully dip them into a container with a sticky liquid, trying not to wet too much, as the napkin may deteriorate.
  • We twist the napkins with our palms in the form of tubes, adhering to an angle of 45 °.

Important! Try to roll the strips tighter so that there are no gaps. Different widths of the tubes are needed in the future to form a tree trunk - for the crown and for the twigs.

  • Let the tubes dry.
  • We apply PVA glue to the drawn sample of the tree.
  • Now it's time to lay out the finished flagella from napkins and give a beautiful bend to the tree, forming a crown, branches and roots.
  • With a glue gun or quick-drying glue, we glue our coins in a chaotic manner. Coins can be glued on top of each other to create a three-dimensional image.

Important! Before gluing coins, they must be degreased with alcohol or ordinary dishwashing detergent.

  • Using black paint in a balloon, carefully paint over the entire surface of the picture. We give time to dry.
  • Now we dip the sponge into silver acrylic paint and once again cover the money tree. As a result, you should get a worn effect, so do not press hard on the sponge with your hand. Let the paint dry again.
  • We shade the gold acrylic paint over the coins without touching the background of the picture.
  • Until the last coat of paint is dry, apply dry glitter to the surface of all gold coins.
  • Leave the product to dry completely.

Canvas "The money tree is ready." Now you can insert it into a frame and enjoy the work of your author's idea!

  1. The root of the tree can be made more interesting, for example, colored. To do this, dilute colored paint, glue and water in a container.
  2. Coins can be painted green to imitate the leaves of a tree - dip a sponge in green paint and walk along the crown.
  3. In the same way, you can paint the trunk in its inherent brown color.
  4. If desired, you can cover the coins with white paint, creating a snowy effect, giving the picture tenderness and special lightness.

What else can you do with coins?

A do-it-yourself painting of trees is not the only way to use coins.

Options for using metal money in creativity:

  • We scatter coins on plywood, insert it into a frame and cover it with glass on top - we get an unusual and stylish panel.

Important! You can depict absolutely any drawings: a goldfish, an elephant or a portrait of a person.

  • A great idea would be a picture of “financial daisy” coins, in which each petal is lined with coins from different countries.
  • Entire mosaic pictures can be laid out from coins, coloring individual elements of the image with different colors.
  • Money is also used to decorate the room. You can put them on the wall in the bathroom, cover the interior door or decorate the chest of drawers in the room.
  • Various fakes will decorate your apartment in an original way - topiary, money bowl and other handicrafts.
  • Now you will not have a question about how to make a tree picture from coins and more. Everything is done quite simply and quickly, and most importantly - economically. As you can see, there can be an endless number of design options. It all depends on your imagination. But be sure that your creative work will not go unnoticed, it will delight you and your guests for a long time. That's right, penny to penny, and real masterpieces are created from coins!

The money tree painting is one of the most sought after DIY works. Such a picture is a solid gift for any holiday and just for the joy of loved ones. The money tree is great for any interior, as it has a neutral color without energetic color schemes.

There are various techniques for making such images. It is generally accepted that the painting "Money Tree" with a crown of coins brings prosperity to its owners in the financial sector.

Nuances of technique collage

What we need in work:

  • base for wood, burlap or any other;
  • napkins or toilet paper;
  • acrylic paints of gold, black, silver color;
  • ordinary water;
  • coins of any denomination;
  • foam sponge;
  • pencil and scissors;
  • cosmetic gloss;
  • without texture damage, a frame from a picture or for photos with plywood;
  • quick-drying glue and PVA glue.

From the prepared material, a fabric base is cut out for the future canvas. It must be placed on plywood from the back of the photo frame or any other picture. The fabric is cut exactly to the size of the lining used and secured with glue. When the fabric base is no longer sticky and dry, a rough sketch of the tree is drawn.

Diluted in a medium-sized container with PVA glue and plain water. The amount to be diluted should be 1:1. Paper napkins of any color are cut into rags 2 and 3 cm wide. The finished cut blanks are lightly dipped one at a time in containers with diluted glue.

On a note! Do not overdo it with glue on paper, as it can spread.

The resulting strips are carefully and tightly twisted in the form of tubes. Soaked strips of different widths will be used for different parts of the tree, thicker - for the crown, thinner - for twigs. Therefore, when twisting, pay attention to this and not confuse. When enough flagella are ready, leave them to dry completely.

On a fabric basis, at the location of the sketch of the tree, a small amount of glue is applied to the place where the crown is formed. Dried bundles of paper are laid out on a layer of glue, forming roots, branches, and a crown. The work is left to dry completely.

After preparing the tree, you can start gluing coins. Coins must be pre-cleaned and degreased with alcohol tinctures or any detergents. For secure fastening of coins, it is better to use quick-drying glue. Glue banknotes as you wish, but be sure to close all the ends of the branches. The tree is ready.

The next step is the design of the type of picture, that is, its painting. To do this, black aerosol paint is used, sprayed over the entire exposure.

A wonderful combination has a gold paint covered with a top layer. Be sure to apply each layer of paint needs time to dry.

To give a light glow, it is necessary to go over the entire exhibition with a foam rubber sponge with silver-colored acrylic paint, but without painting over, but only dipping the work. Having endured time for drying, the final touch is performed - shading with acrylic gold paint, but only on coins. For shine, you can apply a cosmetic gloss on top of the entire work, until it is not completely dry. The product is ready, remains until completely dry.

Fix the finished fabric blank with a fully finished coin tree in the frame, and you can enjoy your individual work.

Trying to create a panel

To complete the work you will need:

  1. Dense plywood base;
  2. Putty and spatula;
  3. masking tape;
  4. Paper napkins of any color;
  5. Item for sanding the picture;
  6. Glue "Moment";
  7. Acrylic paints in black and gold;
  8. Foam sponge.

On the prepared basis, a sketch of a tree trunk and pebbles on the ground is depicted. The drawn lines of the image are sealed with masking tape, cut into narrow and short strips.

To perform the following step, putty and a spatula are needed. Putty with the help of a tool is applied to the pebbles and to the trunk of the future tree. The material is applied carefully, without bending the masking tape.

After 20 minutes, until the putty is completely dry, the strips of masking tape peel off. The work is worth it until it dries completely, which is about another two hours.

When the work is completely dry, the top layer must be carefully passed through with an object for sanding.

The next step in the work is gluing the coins in any order, but preferably at a consistent distance from each other.

PVA glue and ordinary water are diluted in a small container, the diluted amount should be 1: 1. Napkins of any color are cut into rags up to 2 cm wide. Ready cut blanks are lightly dipped one by one in a container with diluted glue, do not overdo it with glue on paper, as it can spread. The resulting strips are carefully and tightly twisted with the palms in the form of tubes. Finished harnesses are glued one by one between the coins.

After gluing the flagella, you can place more coins on top, which will create a volume effect.

After the glue has completely dried, black acrylic paint is applied over the picture. When the paint dries, the tree trunk, pebbles and coins are covered with a foam sponge and acrylic gold paint.

The contour of the tree trunk and stones can be highlighted with a brush with gold paint.

At the discretion of the master, you can add additional items. The "Money Tree" panel is ready!

Today I want to present you a detailed master class with a photo on making the Money Tree panel from coins with your own hands.

    - wooden frame; - a piece of burlap, canvas or denim; - acrylic paints and a sponge; - coins; - PVA glue; - thermal gun; - napkins.

DIY coin panel master class step by step

First, remove the glass from the frame and take out the cardboard base. It is on it that we will work. We take a piece of embossed fabric (burlap, canvas or jeans) and cut it to the size of the cardboard. Thickly cover the cardboard with PVA glue and glue the fabric.

We cut the edges to the size of the base. To prevent the cardboard from deforming, place glass and a press on top.

As soon as the glue dries, we take the tree trunk. We cut the napkins into strips 1.5 cm wide and twist them into flagella.

It is necessary to prepare a sufficiently large number of flagella to form a full-fledged trunk.

On the basis we draw the outline of our tree with branches.

It all depends on your imagination. Someone can make a simple classic tree with a straight trunk, someone likes intricate shapes with twists and curls. In any case, the tree will eventually look very good due to the fact that it is made from individual flagella. This execution technique makes the tree realistic, almost repeating the structure of the bark. Lubricating the flagella with PVA glue, we begin to lay them out along the drawn contour in several layers, making the tree trunk textured.

The trunk is ready, we proceed to the design of the crown of the tree. Depending on whether your frame is rectangular or square, choose the right shape for the crown of the tree. It can be stretched horizontally, then the tree will be more branched. I have a fairly simple form. We begin to glue the coins with a thermal gun. We glue the coins first along the contour of the tree.

Then we fill in the middle, and then glue the coins in several layers so that the crown is voluminous and the empty gaps do not shine through.

All is ready. We take black acrylic paint (preferably pearlescent or metallic, it will look better and not so gloomy). We paint the whole picture, both fabric and wood.

Now we take gold acrylic paint and with the help of a foam cup we superficially cover the picture with gold, especially coins. Do not overdo it, you just need to achieve the effect of gilding.

Before putting the picture in the frame, we will also decorate the frame itself a little and give it a golden sheen using the same acrylic paint.

That's all, a wonderful gift in the form of a money panel of coins is ready.

Based on materials from http://svoimi-rukami-club.ru

According to the ancient Chinese philosophy of Feng Shui, the money tree is a talisman for bringing prosperity to the house. It can be either a live fat plant, or an artificial bonsai tree, a topiary or a panel depicting a coin tree. This tree should stand in the middle of the southeastern part of the living room. It can be purchased, but it is better to do it yourself - then it will contain your energy and actively attract the flow of wealth into the house.

What talismans can be made with your own hands:

  • Bonsai - a bonsai grown on a flat surface: a dish, a lid, a tray; its evenly spread branches symbolize stability.
  • Topiary is a tree, the crown of which is sheared in the form of a ball, on an even trunk in a pot.
  • Panel.

money tree bonsai

The most difficult of DIY crafts, you will need to work hard.

For its manufacture we need:

  • traditional Chinese coins with square holes (you can buy them from a gift shop) or ordinary pennies of about the same denomination and color, but you need to drill holes in them - we take 50 pieces;
  • thin wire for branches (you need one that bends well, but does not sag under the weight of coins);
  • thick wire;
  • floral tape;
  • decorative cover (stand, saucer);
  • mortar materials: cement, alabaster, PVA glue, finishing plaster;
  • gold acrylic paint in aerosol package.

How we will act:

  1. We take a piece of wire 40 cm long, string a coin in the middle and twist both ends of the wire, twist further, make a branch with a leaf 2 cm long. Now we put money on the middle of the free end of the wire again, twist, from the other end also. We make a branch of five leaves.
  2. We make 10 branches. We wrap the base of each branch with floral tape.
  3. We twist them together, form a tree and a crown. In the middle we put a thick wire, it is possible in isolation.
  4. Now we lower the "roots" into the pan and fill it with a solution. We prepare it like this: mix equal parts cement, sand and alabaster, add water.
  5. We make a new solution, coat the trunk and branches with it. Solution: alabaster, finishing plaster, cement, PVA glue in equal parts, water.
  6. After drying, cover the money tree with gold paint.

money tree topiary

Level of difficulty of the master class: medium (an adult and a schoolchild under the guidance of an adult will cope with it).

Let's take:

  • coins;
  • foam ball (diameter 10 cm);
  • stick for the trunk (branch, thick wire);
  • gold ribbon 5 mm thick for wrapping the trunk and decor;
  • golden rhinestones for decoration;
  • materials for drainage (gypsum);
  • flower pot;
  • gold paint;
  • glue gun.

Sequencing:

  1. With the help of a glue gun, we begin to glue the coins to the ball.

    Money tree from coins will help you get rich

    We lay them out in rows, leaving an empty space for the trunk.

  2. We wrap the stick with a ribbon, fix it with glue.
  3. We make a hole in the ball, insert a stick there and glue it well.
  4. Ready for drainage. Pour the gypsum mortar into the pot, put the tree there and wait until it hardens.
  5. We cover the pot, drainage and money with gold paint.
  6. We glue rhinestones on coins selectively, decorate a pot with rhinestones. From the ribbon we form bows and attach to the trunk, pot.

Deciding on a place for an artificial tree

A handmade charm for wealth can decorate your room. Determine where the southeast is in your apartment and think about which type of money tree is best suited to the interior. If this is an open wall, then a picture would be appropriate, if there is a shelf, table or flower stand in this place, then choose a tree craft.

Important! According to Feng Shui, the southeast does not coincide with the cardinal points. If you know that the windows of your apartment face east, then according to Chinese teachings, it will be west. We choose a living room, we become facing the window. Therefore, the southeast will be at the beginning of the left wall of the room - place the money tree there.

The painting "Money tree from unnecessary coins"

This is a simple kind of work. We will make panels with our own hands using the “applique” technique, so everyone can cope with the task, and such work in the interior will look very stylish.

We prepare materials:

  • a trifle of the same size;
  • a sheet of thick cardboard for the base;
  • a piece of burlap to fit the background;
  • napkins;
  • glue gun or strong glue ("Dragon", "Moment");
  • PVA glue;
  • bronze (gold) acrylic paint;
  • frame;
  • piece of sponge.

Now let's get to work:

  1. We glue the burlap on the cardboard, level it, wrap the edges and glue it.
  2. We cut the napkins into strips 2 cm wide; starting from the corner of the strip, we twist the flagellum, smearing it with PVA glue. We make a lot of these flagella.
  3. Draw the outline of the tree with a pencil. Now we moisten the flagella with PVA glue so that they become raw, and lay out the trunk and branches from them. Let's dry.
  4. Glue the coins with a glue gun.
  5. We cover the crown of the tree, the trunk and the background with gold paint using a sponge.
  6. Glue the frame to the picture.

Everything is ready: our handmade money trees will decorate the interior and attract prosperity to the house.

  1. Cut out a blank of the required size from cardboard.
  2. Cut off a piece of burlap a little larger than the cardboard blank. Make sure that the fabric does not have foreign inclusions, holes, irregularities and other defects.
  3. Apply a sufficient amount of PVA glue to the cardboard and glue the burlap to the cardboard blank, pressing firmly over the entire surface and preventing the formation of bubbles.
  4. Let the base dry for several hours. To prevent the cardboard from warping, you can put a load on top.

Making blanks for a tree trunk

First you need to make a sufficient number of blanks for the future trunk. For this, ropes or laces cut into lengths of 15-25 cm are suitable.

Very neat blanks are obtained from multilayer paper napkins. You will need 2-3 large napkins of any color. Each napkin should be cut into strips about 1.5 cm wide and moistened with plenty of water so that the paper is completely saturated and slightly swollen. Twist the strips into a tight flagellum. There is no need to strive to obtain perfectly even flagella; from blanks with some defects, a more realistic and interesting money tree trunk will turn out.

Drawing the contours of the picture

On the dried burlap with a simple pencil, apply the contours of the future tree. It is desirable to draw the crown as simple as possible, because it will be filled with coins, and a complex drawing simply will not work. But with a tree trunk, you can show imagination: make it curved, highlight individual branches or powerful intertwined roots.

Sticking tree trunk blanks

Now you can proceed to the most difficult and crucial part of the work - the formation of the trunk of the money tree. With the help of PVA glue, applied in sufficient quantities to the burlap, you need to glue the flagella from napkins (pieces of rope or lace), trying not to go beyond the contours of the pattern. There should be no distance between the blanks. To get a more interesting pattern, you can bend, twist and cross the blanks, striving to imitate the bark of a real tree.

Tree crown formation

The crown of the tree is formed by coins.

money tree from coins

A glue gun is used to stick coins. It is not allowed to apply an excessive amount of glue to the coins, as it will be difficult to remove it.

First, glue the coins along the contour, then fill in the free space. We glue the coins overlapping so that the burlap fabric does not show through.

At the end, remove the remaining glue from the surface of the coins with a brush or manually.

Painting a picture

  1. We cover the entire surface of the picture with black spray paint, leaving no bald spots. If necessary, the paint can be applied in 2 layers.
  2. After the spray paint has dried, you can start painting the money tree. To do this, apply a small amount of bronze or silver acrylic enamel on the surface of the sponge and carefully spread it over the coins and tree trunk. It is recommended that you make a test print on a piece of paper beforehand. It is not necessary to paint the coins and the entire trunk, there must be black gaps (a pattern of the crown and “cracks” in the tree trunk). Smooth color transitions on the crown of the tree look very nice. Don't be afraid to experiment with the amount of paint.

After drying, a picture of coins can be framed and hung a masterpiece made by oneself in a conspicuous place.

Crafts from coins: panel "Money Tree"

By the way, in the East it is believed that such a tree really “works”, it needs to find a place in the house from the southeast.

With the help of our clear instructions, photos and videos, this interesting talisman, if desired, will be easy for everyone to make. Such a product can please anyone!

Preparing materials for the picture

To make this financial souvenir, you need to prepare the following materials:

  • the basis for the picture (burlap, canvas or canvas) and frame;
  • thick paper napkins or kitchen towels;
  • different coins;
  • glue gun;
  • PVA glue;
  • kitchen sponge, brush;
  • brown and gold acrylic paint.

Please note that the panel due to the coins turns out to be very weighty, so the frame should be chosen quite strong.

It can be, for example, an ordinary wooden frame, while the basis for the photo must be dense and strong, since simple cardboard may not withstand the weight of the decor and deform over time. Coins for the picture are suitable for any denomination, including the smallest ones. You can specially buy souvenir plastic coins, they are lighter in weight.

Painting technique

We will describe each step of making such a picture, so that anyone can easily repeat it.

Foundation preparation

The background for the picture can be thick textured paper (for example, wallpaper), canvas, canvas or burlap. It must be glued with PVA to the base for the photo, carefully straightened. In order for the base to be even and beautiful, it must be pressed against the frame with glass before drying and pressed down with something heavy on top. After everything is well glued, the excess fabric at the edges will need to be carefully cut off or folded to the wrong side and fixed with glue.

Making a trunk

On paper, we will draw a stencil for a tree trunk with roots and branches, cut it out, circle the paintings on the fabric basis.

We cut paper napkins into strips 1.5-2 cm wide, from which we will make a trunk, branches, roots. To do this, we moisten them a little in water and twist tight bundles, you will need about 30 of them, or even more, depending on the width and height of the tree.

With PVA glue, we lubricate the trunk a little on the base, and we completely soak the flagella in it and glue them to the future picture.

After the barrel is ready, it must be allowed to dry completely.

Glue the crown of coins

The crown of the tree is made of coins, they are glued with a thermal gun with transparent glue. You can arrange the money according to your taste. Coins glued randomly in two layers look beautiful. The tree in this case turns out to be textured and really rich!

Painting

When all the elements are firmly fixed on the base, the entire picture, including the background, is covered with brown acrylic paint. The product must be very carefully painted over, leaving no gaps, and left to dry.

After the brown color has completely dried, use a sponge to apply a careless layer of golden acrylic paint. Particular attention should be paid to the coins, paint over them more brightly than the rest of the panel. Let's dry. The frame also needs to be lightly covered with golden paint, so the picture will look more harmonious and holistic.

Decor

After everything has dried, it remains only to insert the picture into the frame.

It's amazing what a rich panel turned out with your own hands from such simple things! Taking into account the drying time of the paint, it will take no more than four hours to make it. At the same time, such a souvenir will be appropriate for any holiday, both for a man and a woman, and will undoubtedly please the owner of even the most refined taste. After all, such a picture with a money tree not only looks stylish, but also has a certain meaning!
